What is General Data Protection Regulation?
GDPR is a new, updated law within the European Union regarding protection of personal and sensitive data. GDPR replaced the previous Data Protection Act (1998) in the UK. Unlike the Data Protection Act, GDPR applies to all countries in the European Union and any company outside of the EU that handles the data of EU citizens.
Who are we?
Molola Bade is a hairstylist providing services from online, one-one and group classes training courses, Bridal hair services based in the Grays, Essex. Ola Oyebade is the nominated representative for compliance with GDPR.
Why do we collect your data?
Under GDPR law we are only permitted to obtain and process personal data from you if we have valid reason to do so. Molola Bade processes your personal data for reasons including but not limited to, performance of a contract, to enable billing and remittance and to contact you for customer service purposes. Your consent is required in order for your data to be processed.
How do we use your data?
We utilise your data for the following purposes:
• To process orders that you place with us
• To facilitate our service promises to you
• To assist us in identifying you and matching you to your account
• To provide you with marketing details where you have given consent for us to do so
• To inform you of pricing or service changes
• To detect fraudulent activity
• To notify you about changes to our business and website

How is your data collected?
Your data is collected through you providing it to Molola Bade using application forms, during creation of an online account with us or when filling out a digital customer request form and through email and telephone enquiries. Molola Bade does not collect your personal or sensitive data without your consent.
IP Address and Cookies
An IP (Internet Protocol) Address is a set of numbers assigned to your computer during an internet browsing session. Our servers log this number automatically to collect data about the traffic our website receives. We do not use your IP Address to identify you. Our website also utilises cookies to distinguish you from other website users and to keep track of your visits to mololabade.co.uk. This helps us to facilitate your return visits to our website in a way more relevant to you.
Is your data shared with anyone?
Molola Bade utilises third party specialists in order to contact our customer base via text, email and mail and to provide us with services required such as payment processing and fraud detection; these third parties do not retain the data we provide them. Molola Bade does not sell your data to anyone under any circumstances.
Where we store your personal information
All personal information you provide us with is stored safely and securely. We do not store any physical information. All digital data is stored on a secured system which is password and firewall protected. Transmission of data via the internet is not completely secure, Molola Bade cannot guarantee the security of any data you transmit to us. Transmission of data is at your own risk. Once we have received any data from you we will use strict procedures and security methods to try to prevent any unauthorised access.
Data Retention
Molola Bade will retain your data for the duration of you being a customer of Molola Bade and for seven years after you are no longer a customer. We may be unable to entirely delete your data prior to this due to legal or financial obligations. We may also make use of your data for research or statistical purposes. Your data will only be used for these purposes and will be deleted once any obligations to retain it are fulfilled.
Your Rights
You have the right to object to our use of your personal data, as well as the right to be informed what data we hold and to have that data deleted if there is no reason for us to keep it. There are legal and financial reasons why Molola Bade must retain certain data, but you may inform us if you feel your data is being held for invalid reasons at any time.
You can request to be informed about the data we hold relating to yourself at any time. You have the right to refuse your data being used for marketing purposes, in which case you will not be contacted for marketing reasons. You may choose to opt in or out of marketing in several mediums when you sign up with Molola Bade as a customer and you may opt out at any time by contacting us directly. You will not be contacted for marketing purposes without your consent.
